59-year-old Patrick Kenneth Farmer appeared in court Monday and entered a plea of guilty to indecency with a child sexual contact. With his counsel present, Farmer waived jury and confrontation of a witness.
The former Paramount Baptist Church Sunday school teacher also taught at Lakeview Elementary in 2000 before becoming a substitute in the Amarillo ISD system.
He is currently incarcerated in the Randall County Jail.
